10 QUARTER PEALS DAY RAISES £1,700
Many thanks to all team and army of helpers who made it possible to raise £1,700 for the Elmley Bell Project. It was a great achievment and positive start to towards our fund raising journey. Special thanks to Harry Stephenson for coordinating this first fund raising event. Please support this important project by scrolling down this page for payment details.
MARATHON COMPLETED - WE DID IT!
On Saturday 20th January a team of bell six ringers (pictured below) set off to ring 10 quarter peals in one day, starting from 9am and finishing at 9pm. After many sore hands and aching limbs we achieved our goal. Many thanks to the ringers and the army of helpers without whose help this project would not have been possible.
Many thanks also for your donations. If you haven't yet donated and would like to, please see ways to pay further down this page
The ringers from left to right: Richard Lewis-Skeath, Rachel Page, Roger Hunt Steve Bowley, Harry Stephenson and Reg Hitchings.
Thanks also to Claire Penny and David Jones for making up the 8 at Eckington in a nice quarter peal of Grandsire Triples.
